MEET THE STUDIO

About RemoveBG.Studio

RemoveBG.Studio is a browser-based image workspace for people preparing product photos, social posts, presentations and personal designs. Start with your own photo, remove its background, and turn it into an image that fits your next project.

One photo, several useful next steps

Where your images are processed

The device tools process images in your browser. Background removal runs a downloaded AI model on your device; Cloudflare delivers the website and model assets. Device processing does not require an account. Speed and supported image sizes depend on your browser and hardware.

The batch workspace also has a separate, restricted cloud preview with its own sign-in and upload flow. Signing in does not automatically upload images from the device workspace. Website analytics and hosting requests are separate from image processing; see the privacy details for what the site uses.

Download the files you want to keep. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable, so it should not be your only copy of a photo or project.

Check the result before using it

The background-removal model is U²-NetP, a compact salient-object detector. It works best with a clear main subject. Fine hair, glass, smoke, shadows and overlapping objects can need manual corrections. Zoom in and check the cutout against both light and dark backgrounds before downloading.

Standard editing masks are capped at 1,024 pixels. Optional HD source-guided edges align the existing mask to color boundaries in the original image; they do not run a new AI model or guarantee perfect hair. Original-size exports retain the cropped source pixels, while Quick exports cap the longest side at 4,096 pixels.

Our tool guides include downloadable examples with their actual settings and file sizes. They illustrate those specific files, not a guaranteed outcome for every photo. For product catalogs, the photo consistency guide explains framing, margins and export checks.
